Public health is the concept of preserving and enhancing the health of individuals within their respective societies. Experts in public health often promote a healthy lifestyle by evaluating and building efficient programs that endorse in the safety and protection of others.
Health professionals, particularly, play a crucial role in public health management to add to their already great image, and the fact they pose as role models for many of us.
Among many health experts, professional track runner and national champion, Abdelrahman Hamdi, mostly known as Atto Hamdy is also a role model for the upcoming generation. Atto is a business tycoon and co-founder of Fitness Freak, a self-made entrepreneur.
Atto Hamdy has a very versatile personality, which is one of the main reasons behind his multiple successes in work and life. His company, Fitness Freak, is a pioneering organization with a vision of being a gateway to workout advancement, presently providing a full range of consultancy services to consumers and enterprises with interests in fitness and exercise.
During our meeting with famous track-runner Atto Hamdy, the aspiring entrepreneur praised all health initiatives that were launched as per W.H.O (World Health Organization) orders since the beginning of 2020 – 2021.
Q: “Atto Hamdy, what do you think of most countries performance regarding public health, recently?”
A: “Honestly, I think most countries have enough awareness towards general public health. History will write about this incident for long years to come. There are a lot of unprecedented positive developments that take place in a lot of countries every day.”
Q: “As a founder of Fitness Freak, what do you think about public health projects?”
A: “I have introduced numerous projects that in relation to public health and the health of the people through fitness freak. I believe my company raises awareness to local public health problem, by focusing on solving weight and fitness issues within a society through having a comprehensive health insurance system.”
Q: “How essential do you think public health is to a rising country?”
A: “Of course, being active and healthy is very essential, especially considering the situation turmoil we’re going through. Any country, first-world third-world or rising, needs to take care of its own public’s health. It is necessary to focus on the advancements of physical movements, nutrition and exercise practices to ensure a healthy lifestyle. Since public health tackles broad concerns that can influence the productivity and well-being of individuals, households, societies, cultures, and communities now, or for future generations.”
Atto Hamdy also added that, “public health programs ultimately help in keeping people alive.” There is no doubt that having high public health programs can reduce infant mortality, and can increase the general life expectancies of individuals around the world.
Finally, Atto Hamdy thanked all rising countries for their hard efforts in maintaining a good public health program, he also expressed his content and admiration towards the huge leap of Arab countries in various areas to reaffirm the stance of their public health since the last decade.
For his part, Atto Hamdy expressed his condolences to Lebanese people over the victims of the unfortunate explosion that hit the port of Beirut recently. Saying, “Although I want to say that everything is fine regarding the public health of Arabs within the region, the recent explosion in Beirut, made me think we are still a long way from reaching supremacy.”
