Murder Arrest
The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office announce the arrest of three individuals in connection to the murder of a Diboll woman. One of the suspects is the victim’s estranged husband, the release stated.
“The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in the early morning hours of July 24th in reference to a death investigation on Burkhalter Hollow. The deceased was identified as Ashley Schaeffer, 35 of Diboll. Her death was believed at the time to be a homicide. After an extensive investigation by the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, assisted by the Texas Rangers, search warrants were executed and evidence was obtained leading to the arrest of 3 individuals. The suspects are Breana Green, Victor Lee (the victim’s estranged husband) and Wade Finley. All 3 suspects have been charged with Murder in Schaeffer’s death. This is still an ongoing investigation, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office.”
