CAMDEN — The Camden Public Library welcomes the Midcoast Brass Quintet back to the Camden Amphitheatre on Wednesday, June 15, at 6 p.m., for a free public concert to kick off the library’s “Summer Music & Theatre Series.”
“Pack a picnic supper, and enjoy a musical evening with family and neighbors,” said the Library, in a news release. “Bring a camp chair or blanket for comfortable seating.”
The Midcoast Brass Quintet is a group of five musical friends (Peter Stuart, Meghan Kennedy, Doug Kennedy, Carolyn Kanicki, and Bruce Cole) who joined together in 2008 to perform a mix of classical, patriotic, jazz, rock, pop, ragtime, show tunes, and marches.
“They are crowd-pleasing local favorite whose joyful concerts are a treat for all ages,” said the Library.
The Summer Music & Theatre Series is sponsored by Allen Insurance and Financial.
