Bluestem Amphitheater is a scenic outdoor venue along the Red River. Programmed and managed through a partnership between Fargo Public Schools and the city of Moorhead, the venue hosts several community events including Symphony Rocks and performances by Trollwood Performing Arts School, which makes its home there. Touring artists also hit the stage regularly, with Vanilla Ice and Halestorm among the performers from 2022.
Bluestem is “more than just a music venue,” its website proclaims, noting it is “a quintessential Fargo-Moorhead experience where some of the best memories are made.” The venue opened in 2009 and seats 3,000 people.
